Workshop Update

So I am excited to announce that I posted yet another video on youtube/alleypoe. I don't exactly have the workshop I want just yet, but I got inspired to do a drawing of Katy Perry. I haven't drawn in such a long time, so I decided to brush up my skills using a picture of Katy Perry. As far as the workshop, well it is still being set up. Updates on the Updates

I can't believe it's only Monday and I already feel like this is a long week. *sigh* However, I am excited to share that I now have an official portfolio http://artbyalleypoe.daportfolio.com/ So check it out!!! I will upload most of my work I have done, but of course it will not have all the information about my artwork which is why I have this blog to share to you my supporters. What's going on?

So I totally forgot that the cops were out this weeked!!! I am so bummed, I got a speeding ticket :/ I really learned my lesson this time. I will never speed again haha. But because I got a ticket, I am now financially behind :( nevertheless more behind on my plans to set up a workplace. I am guessing it will take another month or two but good things take time. Hey Artsy Lovers!!! So I just opened up a new account on deviant art "alleyp" (I had another account but I lost the email and password) So I had to create a new one :/ Anyways...check it out! I know I haven't posted anything in about a week or something like that, but I promise as soon as I can make a space to paint I will posting a lot more blogs up. Life is so crazy right now. I feel like everything is trying to bring me down :( but I will not let that stop me from what it is I am suppose to do and that is well you know "Artistically Preparing On Earth." Keep those creative brushes flowing my friends. Hope to talk to you soon.

About "Alley Poe"

I am a painter, poet and a lover of all of God's creations. I love being outside and looking at scenery such as trees, flowers or lakes. (Basically Nature) From a young age, as soon as I picked up a pencil I started drawing. I can't really describe why or what goes on when I draw or paint. I just know that I love doing it for the experience. (It is a pleasure really) Everywhere I go I am in awe of shapes, textures and color. (but also depends on if I am distracted by something going on in my life or not) But for the most part I pay attention a lot to the details of anything that inspires me to paint. Most of the artwork I have done was because I wanted to express how I was feeling at the time. Other artwork of mine was created because I got a request from someone to do a picture for them. (Which I also love doing as well) It's only been a few years since I have been actually painting. When I first started painting I wanted to burn my pictures. (Let's just say I was very frustrated trying to learn a new thing) But I kept wanting to paint because when I paint, my world is peaceful to the strokes of my heart. (sorry, like I said I can be poetic) And now I love painting. I also hope that you my fellow artsy lovers appreciate my heart as well because after all my art is my heart.
